Maison is a classic luxury ecommerce theme for Astro — a printed-archive aesthetic with Playfair Display serifs, hairline rules and monospaced labels, built for boutiques that sell craft, heritage and one-of-one pieces.
Three stores in one theme
Maison ships with three complete "archive houses" that switch live from the header — each with its own name, catalog, categories, filters, hero imagery and copy:

Shopify-ready commerce layer
The theme runs on a provider-agnostic commerce layer. Out of the box every demo works on mock JSON data — no backend needed. Point two environment variables at your store and it becomes a headless Shopify storefront: your live catalog through the Shopify Storefront API, with Shopify's hosted checkout.

- Faceted catalog: price range slider, brand, material, era and availability filters with live counts, active filter chips and clear-all
- Grid and list catalog views with archive-style sorting (valuation, rating, rarities)
- Quick-view piece drawer with specifications table, gallery and full product page link

- Era tiles on the home page that filter the catalog in one tap
